Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4 October 2026
This policy explains how DataPeep handles information across this website (peepdata.dizipeep.com), the DataPeep YouTube channel and the DataPeep Automation tool. The short version: this website collects nothing about you, and we only see what you choose to send us.
Who we are
DataPeep is a YouTube channel (@DataPeep) that compares countries, economies and history through data. The website and channel are run by the DataPeep team, part of the same family as DiziPeep. You can reach us at [email protected].
This website
- The website does not collect personal information.
- It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use that data to identify or profile visitors. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
When you email us
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message. We use this only to read and reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your message with anyone, except where the law requires it. You can ask us to delete our correspondence with you at any time.
YouTube and YouTube API Services
Our videos are hosted on YouTube, and DataPeep uses YouTube API Services to manage its own channel. When you watch our videos or interact with the channel on YouTube, you are using YouTube, and its own terms and policies apply:
DataPeep Automation (Google API access)
DataPeep Automation is a private tool used only by the owner of the DataPeep YouTube channel to publish and manage the channel's own videos. It is not offered to the public, and no other person signs in to it.
- It accesses Google user data only for the DataPeep channel account, with the owner's consent.
- It uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API) to upload and manage the channel's videos, playlists and comments, and to read the channel's own performance statistics.
- Access tokens are stored securely and are never shared, sold or transferred to third parties.
- Google user data is not used for advertising and is not used to train AI models.
- Access can be revoked at any time from your Google Account security settings at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
DataPeep's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube comments
Public comments posted on DataPeep videos may be read through the YouTube API so that we can reply to them and moderate them. We store only the public username and comment text, delete raw comments after 12 months, and will delete stored comments on request — just email us.
Children
This website is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. Because we hold so little, the simplest way is to email us and we will respond promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
